Sharonda Allen, MPA, is also an Author, Historian, Scientist, Social Philanthropist, singer, and Educator with over 26 years of experience in public school systems. In addition to being a n NJPEEC steering committee member, she's an Educational Consultant, Curriculum and Grant Writer, Trained Climate Reality Leader and Climate Activist, Trainer for the NJ Council for Economic Education, Service Learning Facilitator, Amistad Fellow, TV Talk Show Host for, “We The Village”. Region 1 Membership Coordinator for ASALH, Green Faith Newark, NJ Circle President, Tri-County Sustainability EJ Co-Chair, Chapter Co-Chair of Greater NJ Gateway Climate Reality Project, NJ Audubon Teacher of Ecology, a Rutgers Environmental Steward & Green Infrastructure Champion, and a Public Speaker.
Sharonda holds Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, with a Minor in Africana Studies, as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Administration all from Kean University, with a Supervisor’s and Social Studies Certification in Education.
